Enhancing learning and teaching about mental health across the disciplines
Please reply to this forum topic for help, questions about using the mhhe hub, suggestions etc.
Following the MH SIG meeting yesterday, I have created a tab at the top which links directly to the 'Burning Issues' wiki.
Am hoping that will make it easier to engage with discussion there and to add further Burning Issues.
We are very keen to solicit ideas to inform future development of the hub. Do please post them here and/or join our online chats on 26 July (10-11am) and 29 July (12-1pm) to discuss future developments.
It is years I think since I took a look at the MHHE Hub. I swiftly found a couple of things to bookmark today inc. China Mills' podcast on Global Mental Health, and the Engaging with Voices videos. I was also pleased to see a prominent 'blog post' for the latest issue of ASYLUM.
But to be honest there is probably something lacking for me, can't quite articulate exactly what, it's probably to do with a lack of immediacy ... I see there's a 'Chat' function, but I'm not sure that's what I had in mind necessarily.
I would want to communicate more widely at some point, but not really sure how to go about it. And I don't mean right now, but sometime in the future. It would be around the areas of wellbeing, fighting stigma, possibly including what people are reading right now? I've recently read a novel The Woman Who Walked Into Doors by Roddy Doyle: if anyone's read it, that might make for a discussion.
Anyway, these are my thoughts this morning.
PS. Let me know if there are any more future online discussions planned.
