The HEA has opened the call for its Student retention and success change programme which has been designed to examine reasons for low rates of student satisfaction.

The three-year programme builds on the learning from the ‘What works? Student retention and success programme’, funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

Surveys show that between 33% and 42% of students consider leaving university in their first year.…

Calls are now open for the HEA's Green Academy Change Programme. The programme aims to address challenges of embedding sustainable development in the curriculum and making graduates more globally aware and sustainability literate citizens.

It will draw on theories of change and recent national and international research on sustainability in higher education to support evidence-informed change at institutional level.
